Mac OS X only: Freeware Mac plug-in FileUtilsCM adds a bucket of useful commands to Finder's context menu, letting you do things like:
- refresh the look of an object in Finder,
- copy [a file's] path to clipboard,
- toggle lock,
- toggle extension visibility
This is a really handy add-on if for no other use than the copy file path entry, which is a godsend when, for example, you need to upload a file but you don't want to navigate to the file through the tedious browse for file dialog. FileUtilsCM is free to download, Mac only. Windows users looking for similar functionality should check out ClipPath.
