Tonido is AWESOME - Utak Atik

Following my previous post, I haven't mentioned much about Tonido. While syncing is achieved by unison, Tonido is your app to access your files from anywhere. There's also the iPhone/iPad app. With Tonido, I can stream my music collection at home from anywhere. No need for the cloud music service.

And one more cool thing from Tonido is the ability to stream movies as well! Not from iPhone though, but it's cool nevertheless. For AVI movies, you're gonna need VLC plugin for your browser.

Or, you can just simply share the file, grab the URL, and open it in VLC or any other players that support movie streaming. The best things are: 1) Tonido is FREE! 2) Your "cloud" storage is limited by the capacity of your hard drive(s). Yes, you can plug external HDs to your server and still can access it using Tonido.
